And so Road's Endnotes is reborn as a webcomic! It's a change from posting the doodles with thumbtacks in the barn, but I guess it's a welcome one. Drawing the site up probably is less difficult than organizing a fanbook that would be hard to update...
It feels a little strange uploading these without really being in context; I'm a state or two too far away to really be close to my objects of inspiration. The Internet is probably the exact opposite of Road's End Farm anyway. And considering that I'm not allowed anywhere near a computer when I'm out on the farm posting all of this online almost seems a bit silly. But it's for the alumnai, so I'll just have to deal with it.
But life goes on in Alexandraland. Stuck in that slice of time while I'm waiting to hear back from my colleges (Binghamton accepted me! Woo-hoo!) there's not much to do but try to stay afloat in school and get distracted. In speaking of which, playing a few videogames feels like a great idea right now...
I miss the farm on days like this when it just begins to warm up. Winter seems to finally be letting up, and thinking of warm days only makes me want summer to come faster. Except that means that final exams come faster. Which I definately don't want to happen. Exams are scary when they come at the normal time.
But Road's Endnotes is up now. These first five comics are the originals from my summer posting, and the limited materials show. But that's fine. If updates look totally different, it's because I'm actually sitting down at a desk and inking them up instead of sketching them lying upside-down in the grass and swatting mosquitoes.
