Quality comments:
Good wool feel, softer than Heilo but not like superwash. No knots, even in seconds. Has worn well, no pilling.

Other comments:
Yardage makes good value-substituted for Cleckheaton and used 1/3-1/2 of wt. stated in pattern. Yarn (look) is better for casual sweaters. Works up well in fair isle patterns. A good DK wt. heather yarn could be substituted.

Quality comments:
I used the yarn doubled
on a US 13, so did not
include gauge
information, but when I
used the yarn in a
single ply once before,
I recall it got
textbook worsted gauge
of 5 sts = 1 inch.
Quality is reliable,
very few breaks. There
are slight
irregularities in the
spin, but those are
deliberate for
texture. I also
noticed a bit of
crocking of the dye in
this color.

Other comments:
I've used Sheepswool in two different projects, and it was a good, reliable worsted weight wool in a good range of vibrant colors. The yarn is very lofty and springy. It's discontinued now, but I'd recommend it if it shows up at a garage sale somewhere.
