Quality comments:
Even though this yarn is a blend of different kinds of textures and yarn types it did not split. The mohair is very long and silky some of the hairs are 2-3 inches in length, There is a sewing thread fine, metallic fiber that is multiply looped at regular intervals on a corded silver gray fingering weight yarn that is wound loosely with the mohair. I tried needles till I found what I thought showed off the attributes of the yarn. The fibers of the mohair are so long and the thin loops, which are about 3/4" long that the bigger the needle the more fluff, but the fibers are also not attached well so really big needles allow the fibers to come out easily.

One ball makes a piece about 20 inches X 12 inches. I am using it as vest fronts with other fabric. Very luxurious feel.
