Quality comments:
So soft and smooth to
knit. The stitches are
slippery though and can
drop quickly. The
stitches appear quite
uneven when knitting,
but blocking fixes that
right up.

Other comments:
A wonderful finished fabric. Not too fuzzy so that stitch patterns show up & ribbings hold up well.

Quality comments:
Extremely soft,
deliciously so. Comes in
a variety of colors
including some very nice
earth tones and subtler
shades, which is lovely.
No knots in any of the
skeins I used.
They've recently changed
the put-up from
too-loose hanks which
fell apart and tangled,
terribly, to nice
centerpull balls. Thank
goodness!

Other comments:
Whatever faults this yarn has are simply the typical faults of alpaca: no memory, a bit fuzzy (but not enough to obscure the stitches; I made a stranded scarf and the patter was clear), warm to the point of overheating.
My main issue with the yarn is that its cheaper competitors seem identical in quality (I'm using Knit Picks' Andean Treasure, for instance, and the Misti Alpaca yarns are the softest I've had the pleasure to touch) and are cheaper. However, buying Blue Sky supports my LYS, so I'm happy to keep using it; it's a great yarn.
