Quality comments:
The yarn is very nice to knit with, very soft to the touch. No splitting problems. The yarn is fairly high quality -no knots or weird color changes. The four skeins I've finished have been of even length compared to one another. The colors for this line are very nice.

I've made two pairs of socks in variegated brown/purple and variegated green. The first pair got felted after 5 washings and dryings in a hot dryer. The second pair is doing fine after at least 10 washings, flat drying. I've used two skeins to make a pair of socks each time for a man with large feet. I think stockinette stitch is best for this type of yarn because of the richness of the variegated color. The yarn knits up easily because of its soft touch. I am working on a third pair of socks and have four more skeins to make more socks!

Shrank and felted badly in washing. After about the third washing I handed my socks down to my 10-year-old niece. NOT MACHINE WASHABLE--but very, very pretty and worth hand washing!

I made a pair of socks out of this and have been machine washing and drying them for 2 years with no appreciable shrinkage. I do wash cool and dry low, however.
