Color Black with alternating black metallic and blue/pink metallic

Particularly for a novelty yarn, this is very easy to work with. The carrying thread is smooth and firm and the yarn blends easily with plain wool, also works wonderfully doubled and doesn't tangle regardless of the metallic accents.

This is great fun in a novelty yarn, intended as a comealong accent. I used it with black wool and the effect was charming -- the metallic is spaced so that it's not gaudy. In the course of one evening, I made a blouse scarf from two balls of this - doubled to get the carrying thread as thick as sock yarn. the stuff is almost like Parisian cotton, strung along which at 6-8" intervals are sparkly fuzzies about .5" in length, alternating black sparkly and blue/pink sparkly. This worked up into what looked like a nubby cotton net with random flashes caught in it -- nifty effect. But I didn't really realize how much I liked it til DSIL took it out of its little gift bag and put it on her neck. Looks wonderful, subtle but exotic.
