Quality comments:
This yarn is wonderfully soft and feels so good I can't wait to finish and wear the sweater. It is slightly 'hairy', and its relatively loose twist makes it inclined to split a bit, which is making this project go slower than I anticipated. However, the amount that I have finished feels and looks so nice I think it's worth the effort. There were no knots, as the manufacturer explains, they use splices instead.

Other comments:
I'm doing a fairly plain raglan cardigan pattern to which I've added a pair of narrow cables on either side of the front opening, and a knit-in, garter-stitch front band. The patterns show up quite nicely, which I didn't really expect from such a silky-feeling yarn. Haven't washed it yet, tho. The other available colors were all quite pretty, but I needed a basic cardigan 'to go with' everything. I'll reserve final judgement till I've worn and washed it a few times.
